Six people plus organiser Mike Tobias played at our May tournament, with John McLeod also playing the first session and Chris Beesley the last. We therefore played as two tables of four (24 boards) in those rounds, and two tables of three (18 boards) in rounds 2 and 3, with Mike sitting out.
Four consistent rounds gave Gustavo victory with 1847pts, 63 ahead of Beate, both of them recording identical scores in the final round, and Mo recovered from scoring just 1pt in round 1 to come in third. Alban won the special prize for the hand won against most Matadors, without 6 in the first session, and John, who only played one round, recorded the highest session score: 1070.
