We initially welcomed eight players, including organiser John McLeod, and we played 20 boards as two tables of four. After lunch, Jonathan Norris joined, and we played three more sessions, each 18 boards as three tables of three.

Prizes of champagne, port, and chocolates were awarded for the first three places. A sausage for the best "score diff" in a single session by someone without a place prize was won by Frederik Görlitz (Nick Wedd was later found to have achieved an identical score diff of 182⅔, and claimed another sausage). Patrick Phair won a bottle of wine for making a contract against the most matadors, spades against five in session 3.
