We had 11 entrants for our September tournament. Organiser Mike Tobias sat out, nd we played three tables of three, with Mike Hawkins playing as a floating fourth player. The four sessions allowed everyone to play 18 hands against each of the other players.
Torsten was a comfortable winner, with Cynthia holding on to narrowly pip Mo and Martin for second place. Torsten played 35 of the 72 hands he took part in, and won four more than anyone else even played. Overall, the scoring was very high, with five players making over 2000, and a mean score of 928.95 per 36 hands, compared with our online average of about 840.
Mo took the prize for the best session with 937 in the final round, and Hadi won a special prize for the hand won against the most matadors, (without 5), also in the final session.
Winners took prizes of whisky, wine and chocolates.
