The first Plough Synchron-Skat Tournament was held on
Sunday April 15 2007.
This was the first time we had met in The Plough, in Museum Street. We chose it because, unlike the Rising Sun, it can accommodate us on Sundays. But the players liked it, and we will probably use it instead of The Rising Sun in future, even on Saturdays. There were twelve entrants, not including the organiser, David Parlett. We played the usual four sessions, each as four tables of three, playing twenty-one boards.
