The second Young Chelsea Synchron-Skat Tournament was held on Saturday August
23rd 2008.
We welcomed a newcomer to these events, Nick Krempel. At the start, there were 11 entrants, not counting the organiser, Chris Beesley. Chris joined in the play to make the numbers right, and we played 21 boards as four tables of three. After lunch we played a second session, again with 21 boards; then, so that David Parlett would be able to leave in time to get home, a third session with only 15 boards. The David Parlett and Alan Trangmar left, so we played a final session of 21 boards.
